NANAKULI
Habitat for Humanity holding one last meeting

Advertiser Staff

Habitat for Humanity Leeward O'ahu will host one final orientation and application meeting for a 31-home subdivision scheduled to break ground in September on the Wai'anae Coast.

Hundreds of area residents showed up at two previous meetings.

Leeward Habitat, a local nonprofit home-building group affiliated with a worldwide organization, partners with low-income families who are ready and willing to accept the responsibility of homeownership but who would not qualify for a traditional mortgage.

Area residents interested in learning more are urged to attend the final meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center, 89-101 Farrington Highway in Nanakuli.
