Good Friday: What's open and closed

City and state offices will be closed today in observance of Good Friday. It is not a federal holiday.

Here's what's open and closed today:

- State and county offices: Closed

- Federal offices: Open

- Mail: All post offices open; all services as usual

- Libraries: Closed. For information, visit www.librarieshawaii.org or call your local library.

- TheBus: Operating on a holiday schedule. Information: 848-5555.

- Handi-Vans: Operating

- On-street parking: Free, except for metered stalls on Kalakaua Avenue along Kapi'olani Park; holiday tow-away zone parking as permitted by signs; meters in municipal lots must be fed.

- Traffic: No coning

- Parks, recreation centers, municipal golf courses, botanical gardens and Honolulu Zoo: Open

- Trash: Regular rubbish pickup

- Landfills/refuse transfer stations: Open

- People's Open Markets: Closed
