Triathlon: Local athlete featured on Xterra on KGMB

Honolulu resident Amy Bennett will be one of the featured athletes in tonight's twin broadcast of the XTERRA USA Championship and the XTERRA World Championship KGMB.
Bennett, one of only four women to complete both the XTERRA and the Ironman World Championship in the same year, managed to complete the XTERRA World Championship last year despite breaking her wrist three days before the grueling off-road triathlon event.
The XTERRA USA Championship airs at 7 p.m., followed by the XTERRA World Championship at 8.
