Rainbow Wahine top San Jose State in water polo

Freshman Carmen Eggens scored three goals to lead No. 4 Hawai'i to an 11-8 victory over No. 9 San Jose State today in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation women's water polo match at Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.

The Rainbow Wahine are 13-3 overall and 6-0 in the MPSF.

Kelly Mason, Lisa van Raalte, Angela Turnbull and Leonie Van Der Molen each scored two goals for the Rainbow Wahine.

Freshman Serena Bredin had seven saves in two plus quarters in goal. Sara Gralitzer closed out the match with three saves.

UH a 7-3 lead at the half.

The Rainbow Wahine play a MPSF match against No. 2 Stanford on Monday at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.
