Tomorrow, the traditional torch-lighting ceremony for the 2008 Olympic Games takes place in ancient Olympia.

After six days of roaming Greece, the torch flies to China, where, on March 31, the adventure begins: From Beijing, it will travel through Central Asia and into Europe, on to the Americas, through Africa and back to Asia: 85,000 miles in 130 days.

Advisories? Not for this globetrotter. Past Olympic torches have traveled underwater and faster than the speed of sound. They've been aboard the Pony Express, on the back of a camel and in a skidoo. A highlight for Torchy this year will be to climb the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest. When the flame arrives in China, one of the lanterns with the Olympic flame will be kept aside.
