Mideasterner to address interfaith group

Husamuddin Akhras will discuss "My Spiritual Journey as a Palestinian and Peace Advocate" at the Interfaith Open Table, 7 a.m. April 2 at First Unitarian Church.

Akhras was born to a Muslim family in the village of Azoun, located near the city of Nablus in Palestine, where part of his family still lives. He has explored many other religions, including Christianity, Daoism, American Indian and Hawaiian spirituality.

Also, Raj Kumar will discuss being a Hindu and follower of Gandhi.

First Unitarian Church is at 2500 Pali Highway.
