Mother Nature cooperates for spring break

It's not a bad time to be on Spring Break. The latest National Weather Service forecast is perfect for a day at the beach: Sunny skies, 80 degree temperatures and east winds around 11 mph.

Winds could strengthen by the weekend, but expect mostly dry weather throughout Hawaii.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 66. East wind around 13 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 80. East wind between 11 and 13 mph.

Wednesday Night: Isolated showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Thursday: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. East wind around 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Thursday Night: Scattered showers, mainly before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. East wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
