Sunday jazz concert to benefit Hawaii charities

A jazz concert Sunday at the Honolulu Design Center will benefit several local charities.

The event, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the center's Cupola Theater costs $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Attendees will be able to sample "couture cuisine" and fine wines, and also get to talk to representatives from each charity that will benefit from the event.

Charities to benefit include: The Autism Society of Hawai'i, The Domestic Violence Action Center, The Children's Alliance of Hawai'i and the Hawai'i Arts Alliance.

Jazz musicians who will perform include Dean Taba, Benny Chong and Byron Yasui.

The design center is located at 1250 Kapi'olani Blvd.
