The kids are on a school break and you need a reason to get out of the house? Celebrate Prince Kuhio with a 9 a.m. parade from Kapolei High (with the Royal Hawaiian Band, Kapolei High School Band, decorated vehicles, even a horse unit), followed by a ho'olaulea at the parade's ending spot, Hale Kalaniana'ole. DIAMOND HEAD THEATRE ADDS TWO SHOWS

Diamond Head Theatre has added two performances — at 8 p.m. April 12 and 4 p.m. April 13 — of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, "Flower Drum Song." The production, an adaptation by David Henry Hwang, features the classic tunes by a cast that includes Autumn Ogawa as Mei-Li and Brad Mezurashi as Ta.
