April 7 public hearing set on commuter rail project

Mayor Mufi Hannemann and others will provide an update on plans for a $3.7 billion elevated commuter transit system between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. April 7 at the Radford High School cafeteria, at 4361 Salt Lake Boulevard.

Members of the project team will be on hand to answer questions.

Information that will be discussed includes the project's route and station locations; technology; and environmental impacts.
