TASTE OF EAST O'AHU

The second annual Taste of East O'ahu, a celebration of food, wine and entertainment, takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. April 19 on the grounds of Calvary By The Sea Church, 5339 Kalaniana'ole Highway.

Among the restaurants participating: Assaggio Hawaii Kai, BluWater Grill, Chai's Island Bistro, Roy's, Sabrina's and South Shore Grill.

Admission is $50 general; $1,000 for oceanside VIP tables of 10 (includes champagne reception at 5 p.m.); and $650 for mauka tables of eight.

REICHEL IN THREE CONCERTS

Keali'i Reichel, esteemed kumu hula, chanter, musician and recording artist, performs with the Honolulu Symphony Pops at 8 p.m. April 25-26 and 3 p.m. April 27 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. Matt Catingub conducts.
