RECYCLE
Wahiawa Clean-up will accept recyclable waste

Residents may bring recyclable waste to the fourth annual Wahiawa Clean-Up on April 12 at Leilehua High School's parking lot.

The event, a fundraiser for the school, will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Recyclables that will be accepted include newspaper, cardboard, beverage containers, cooking oil, green waste, scrap metal, car parts, batteries, cell phones, printer cartridges, telephone books and computers.

Organizers will also accept usable clothing and household items. Items not accepted include paint, hazardous fluids, microwave ovens and TVs.

Call Rene Mansho at 306-1876 or Richard Townsend at 741-2148 for more information or for curbside pick-up for area residents. Computers must be dropped off.
