ISLAND LIFE SHORTS
It's Taste of Hongwanji time

Advertiser Staff and News Services

The annual Taste of Hongwanji Bazaar, featuring Koala Moa rotisserie chicken, sushi, fried noodles, stew, Okinawan miso rib soup, chili, jams and jellies, KC waffle dogs and even Puna Portuguese Milk Bread (shipped from the Big Island's Puna Hongwanji, where it's created), is from 8 a.m. to noon tomorrow on the grounds of the Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin.

There's entertainment, too, by Dharma School Taiko Group, Kevin Hughes' Short-Notice Jazz Combo and Paul Shimamoto and Jeff Peterson.
Visit the Honpa Hongwanji mission at 1727 Pali Highway. Admission is free.
