HAIKU

NO. 08-5176

Haiku has a nice, soft brindle and gray coat, with an alert face and eyes. She has not been exposed to much in her young life, so you will need to be patient with this somewhat shy girl, and she will reward you by being a devoted companion.

MARSHALL

NO. 08-4048

Poor little guy — Marshall was caught in a trap on March 3, and still has not fully recovered from the ordeal. He is extremely timid around people but will allow you to handle him if you give him some encouragement.

GINGER

NO. 08-5279

The rabbit we call the Gingerbread Man was surrendered by his owner on March 21. He is a good-sized bunny; light orange and gray, and he is definitely into heavy petting! Ginger would make a great "first pet" for some lucky youngster.

These animals may have already found homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open daily. For hours, directions, special events and to see more pets available for adoption, go to www.hawaiianhumane.org or call 946-2187. Call immediately to report lost and found animals.
