Bishop Museum sets workshop on reefs, global warming

Advertiser Staff

Will coral reefs survive global warming?

That's the question to be discussed at a free workshop April 10 at Bishop Museum. The event is part of a year-long series of workshops to address the health of coral reefs.

Catherine Drew Harvell, of Cornell University, will discuss coral reefs and global warming starting at 6 p.m. at the Atherton Halau at Bishop Museum. Harvell will talk about recent studies of global warming and coral reefs.

She will also talk about what's being done to save reefs.
