Single-lane H-1 closures both days and nights

West O'ahu motorists are advised that there will continue to be lane closures this week on the H-1 Freeway because of two unrelated road projects.

First, there will be intermittent single-lane closures eastbound (town-bound) between the Makakilo and Kunia interchanges from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today to Friday for concrete pouring.

Also, there will be lane closures westbound (Wai'anae-bound) from the vicinity of the Waikele/Waipahu off-ramp (Exit 7) to the Military Access Road overpass from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., nightly through Friday for road resurfacing.

The two left-most lanes will be closed on evenings and early mornings through tomorrow morning. The two right-most lanes will be closed on evenings and early mornings from tomorrow night through Friday morning. During these hours, the westbound H-1 on-ramp from Pa'iwa Street will also be closed.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
