Kauai police ask for help finding Utah man

LIHU'E – The Kaua'i Police Department is asking for the public's help with finding a missing person.

According to police, 22-year-old Jesse Glenn Pinegar was reported missing April 13.

Pinegar flew to Hawai'i from Utah for a vacation three months ago. He is believed to be somewhere on the north shore, possible in Kalalau Valley or working on a farm.

Pinegar's father is currently on Kaua'i searching for his son. He is hoping that Jesse will call him on his cell phone, 801-427-7183.

Pinegar is 6-foot-1 and weighs approximately 185 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He has a tattoo of a Celtic Tree of Life on his right shoulder and Celtic bear tattoo on his left abdomen.
