What are you most proud of? "We are proud of being a traditional small school teaching strong academics and Christian values," Prasser said. "We have small class sizes and are able to give individual attention to our students."

What is your biggest challenge? According to Prasser, it's "providing our unique educational experience at a tuition that 'normal' families in our community can afford."

History: The school opened in 1953 on 2 acres of land. The first classrooms were in the Fellowship Hall, kitchen and present library. A year later, two more classrooms were built. The school continued to grow with a peak enrollment of 130 students in 1981-82.
