Hawaii's Kaneko shoots 1-under 71 in Japan golf tournament

Sacred Hearts senior Ayaka Kaneko shares 23rd after Friday's first round of
the fourth annual JLPGA Crystal Geyser Ladies Tournament in Chiba, Japan.
Kaneko opened with a 1-under 71 at Keiyo Country Club. She is the low
amateur of the four who started, and trails leader Ritsuko Ryu by six shots.
