Managers, assistant managers and employees of O'ahu Wal-marts and Sam's Club spent two days last week commemorating Earth Day by cleaning up the site of the Ewa Beach United Methodist Church and Ewa Beach Preschool (Ewa Plains Enrichment Programs) on Pohakupuna Road.

The approximately 60 volunteers dug up, planted and watered the ground on the site.

Besides the time and effort of its employees, Wal-mart donated materials, including plants, trees, stone edging and soil.
