Michelle Fuller scored four goals and Moana Tuipulotu and Hailey Gill added three apiece as the Lahainaluna High School water polo team defeated Kamehameha-Maui, 19-9, last night for its third consecutive Maui Interscholastic League championship at Kihei Aquatic Center.

Tied at 2-2 in the first quarter, the Lunas (8-0) scored 12 straight goals to pull away from the Warriors (5-3). The 12-0 run lasted until the third quarter.

Sunlun Guth scored five goals for Kamehameha-Maui. Both teams qualified for next week's state water polo tournament.
