North-northwest swell expected today

Advertiser Staff

Last week's big surf along southern shores has been replaced by more typical surf of 1 foot to 3 feet today, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along west shores will be 2 feet or less, and east shores will see surf 2 feet to 4 feet.

A new north-northwest swell could raise surf along northern shores later today, but this morning's surf will be 2 feet or less. The National Weather Service said it could increase to 2 feet to 4 feet by this afternoon. The swell will continue through Monday, but the surf isn't expected to reach advisory heights.
