Wilson, McLachlin finish strong in Wachovia Championship

Kane'ohe native Dean Wilson shot a 3-under 69 today to finish tied for 12th in the Wachovia Championship, 11 strokes behind winner Anthony Kim at Quail Hollow Country Club in Charlotte, N.C.

Kim shot a 69 for 16-under 272 and a five-stroke victory over Ben Curtis, who finished with a 65. Wilson finished at 283 and earned $125,440.

Honolulu's Parker McLachlin also shot a 69 to finish tied for 25th at 286 and earned $45,796.
