Fujikawa ties for 48th place

 •  Kim shoots ahead in Wachovia

Hawai'i's Tadd Fujikawa finished strong today, shooting even par 70 to finish tied for 48th place in The Crowns at Aichi, Japan.

Fujikawa, a 17-year-old Moanalua High School junior, had a 72-hole total of 4-over 284 at the Nagoya Golf Club Wago Course and earned $2,999.

Hilo's Gregory Meyer, a regular on the Japan Golf Tour Organization, shot a final-round 73 for 287 and ended up tied for 61st place and collected $2,538.

Tomohiro Kondo won his fifth career JGTO victory, beating Hiroyuki Fujita in a playoff. Both players shot final-round 67s and were tied at 271.

Fujita birdied the 72nd hole to force the playoff.

Shingo Katayama also carded a final-round 67 and finished one-stroke out of the playoff at 272.

Toru Suzuki (68) and third-round leader Royken Kawagishi (71) tied for fourth at 273.
