Surf rising along northern shores

The latest National Weather Service forecast calls for surf of 5 to 7 feet along north-facing shores today.
No significant swells are expected through Saturday, the forecast said.
Elsewhere today, surf will be 2 to 4 feet along east shores, 2 feet or less along south shores and 1 to 3 feet along west shores.
