BIG PROBLEM CALLS FOR BIG MEASURES

The red border on the April 28 Time magazine turned green in honor of its special report on the environment, "How to Win the War on Global Warming," which identified several national initiatives, among them:

  • Use of hycrete, an advanced, waterproof concrete.

  • PetroAlgae, a renewable biofuel.

  • Pumping up research and development of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind.
