Godfrey, a comedian with numerous club, film and TV credits, is scheduled to appear in "Laugh Factory Presents Godfrey," 7:30 and 10 p.m. May 23 at the Manoa Grand Ballroom of the Japanese Cultural Center in Mo'ili'ili.

Presale tickets are $20; tickets at the door will be $25.

Godfrey recently has appeared in "Original Gangsters," a film starring Jim Brown, Pam Grier, Richard Roundtree and Paul Winfield.

The comedian had smaller roles in "Chain Reaction," "Zoolander," "Soul Plane" and "Phat Girls."
