SAVE THE PLANET

BOTTLED WATER — IS IT REALLY WORTH IT?

  • It takes two liters of water to produce one liter of bottled water. So, if you drink one bottle of water, you've actually used twice that amount.

  • Americans throw away 26.5 million plastic bottles every hour.

  • About 100 billion plastic bags are thrown away in the United States each year. Most people use one for three minutes before it's tossed.
