Public invited to discuss pollution's impact on bay

A public meeting tonight will discuss a new study to measure the impacts of polluted runoff and sedimentation from upper watersheds to the reefs of Maunalua Bay.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hawai'i Kai Public Library, 249 Lunalilo Home Road, and will include speakers from the University of Hawai'i, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Palau International Coral Reef Center.
