Get your boats ready for Bathtub Regatta

It's time to start building vessels for the Bathtub Regatta at BayFest taking place at 1 p.m. July 5 in Kane'ohe Bay.

The event is free and open to all military, civilian and corporate teams. The boat must be self-propelled by a four-person team and created originally for the race.

There will be two age categories: 8-15 and 16 and above. There will be first-, second- and third-place winners in a sprint to the finish line, plus prizes for Best Craft, Most Creative, Funniest Design, Children's Best, First to Sink and more.
