No injuries in Makiki apartment robbery

Advertiser Staff

No one was injured in a Makiki apartment robbery reported to police early today.

A woman complainant, 56, told police four men entered her apartment through an unlocked door at about 9:30 p.m., demanded payment of $2,000 owed — which she didn't have — and took $400 cash from her roommate's wallet, his laptop computer and cell phone before leaving after midnight in two sports utility vehicles.

One of the four men displayed a pistol tucked in his pants' waistband, the woman said.

Police are investigating the case as a first-degree robbery and have made no arrests.
