WAIALUA
May 15 lu'au a benefit for school robotics program

Dole Plantation will host a lu'au fundraiser to benefit Waialua High & Intermediate School's award-winning robotics program from 6 to 9 p.m. May 15.

The robotics program, which travels to the Mainland to compete, raises about $100,000 a year from grants and donations from individuals and companies, including Castle & Cooke's Dole Plantation.

The lu'au will include Hawaiian food, entertainment and a silent auction.

Tickets are $35 and can be purchased at Dole Plantation or through the Waialua Robotics Team.

Dole Plantation is outside Wahiawa Town on the way to the North Shore at 64-155 Kamehameha Highway.
