Kaneohe's Wilson tied for 37th in The Players Championship

Kane'ohe native Dean Wilson shot a even-par 72 today and was tied for 37th after the second round of The Players Championship at the TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

Kenny Perry shot a 70 and was at 6-under 138 for a one-stroke lead over Bernhard Langer (67), Paul Goydos (71) and Sergio Garcia (73). Anthony Kim shot a 70 and was two strokes back. Wilson was at 146.

Wilson bogeyed the par-4 No. 7 and birdied the par-5 No. 9 to make the turn at 36. On the back nine, he birdied Nos. 11 and 18 and bogeyed Nos. 14 and 17.
