Rainbow Wahine eliminate Fresno State in WAC softball, 6-1

Kate Robinson hit a two-run home run in a four-run third inning to lift Hawai'i to a 6-1 victory over Fresno State today in an elimination game at the Western Athletic Conference softball tournament at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.

The Rainbow Wahine (38-18) face Nevada tonight, with the winner advancing to face Louisiana Tech in the finals tomorrow.

Robinson pitched at three-hitter, striking out one and walking none.

Brandi Peiler and Clare Warwick each had three hits for the Rainbows, who had 13 hits.
