A 24-year-old man was charged yesterday with first-degree criminal property damage for allegedly shattering the windshield of a vehicle during a domestic dispute in Wai'anae.

Logan Kaawa, who is being held in lieu of $11,000 bail, is also charged with abuse of a family/household member.

The woman complainant, 22, told police she was in the vehicle with her 3-year-old nephew when Kaawa allegedly struck the right side of the windshield with a brick causing glass to fly onto the occupants. No injuries were reported.

The incident was reported to police at 6:30 a.m.
