Aquarium's 'Ke Kani O Ke Kai' resumes June 12

Advertiser Staff

The Waikiki Aquarium's "Ke Kani O Ke Kai" summer concert series, a popular beachfront Thursay evening event, will resume June 12.

The event assembles top singers and composers who provide lawn entertainment for both locals and visitors, with restaurant partners offering food options.

It's a family-friendly series, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m., and shows beginning at 7 p.m. The Aquarium galleries and exhibits remain open for visits throughout the evening.

The schedule:

• June 12 — Kaukahi.

• June 26 — Hapa.

• July 10 — Jerry Santos and Jay Larrin.

• July 24 — Eddie Kamae.

• Aug. 7 — Willie K.

Tickets: $25 for adults, $10 for juniors ages 7 to 12, and free for children 6 and under; $18 and $7 for Friends of Waikiki Aquarium members or$75 for all five concerts for FOWA members.

Because of space limitations, only 500 can be accommodated at each concert, so it's first-come, first-served.

Reservations: 440-9015, or visit www.waquarium.org.
