AMERICAN SAVINGS BANK

American Savings Bank has hired KATHY METH as enterprise risk manager whose main responsibility is overseeing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Meth comes to American Savings Bank from Innovative Technical Solutions Inc., where she served as corporate controller. She has financial experience in various industries such as banking, transportation, utilities and retail.

COLDWELL BANKER PACIFIC PROPERTIES

Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties has announced that Tharranne Covington has joined the company's Waikiki office. Covington has been a real estate agent for more than four years and has more than nine years of experience in sales. She also comes from a real estate family: Both of her parents were Coldwell Banker agents.

EDWARD ENTERPRISES

Randy Aina has been promoted from vice president/sales manager to senior vice president of Edward Enterprises Inc. He is responsible for sales and public relations, and has been with the company for 26 years.

ENERGY INDUSTRIES

Energy Industries, a national provider of energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions, has hired Neeley Hughey as Hawai'i operations manager. Based in Honolulu, Hughey will oversee the execution of energy efficiency projects for customers who have committed to reduce their operating expenditures and carbon emissions. Prior to joining Energy Industries, Hughey served as the Hawai'i district manager for Starbucks Coffee Co. and was responsible for the smooth operation of eight stores in her district.

HARRIS AGENCY

Allan Payne has been named creative director with Harris Agency. He'll be responsible for elevating and executing Harris' creative product. Prior to joining the agency, he was creative director for Gilbert & Associates on Maui.

Rob Deveraturda has been named public relations director at Harris; he will oversee development and execution of clients' ongoing public relations programs. He previously was an account supervisor with Communication Partners & Associates in New York City.

Lisa Burgin has been named director of client services at Harris. Her responsibilities include managing client development as well as the implementation of advertising and public relations campaigns. She was previously vice president at Bank of America in Los Angeles.

'ILIMA AT LEIHANO

'Ilima at Leihano, O'ahu's newest senior living community, has appointed Kelika Ishol and Linda Peacock as lifestyle counselors. They will be responsible for assisting seniors and their families in learning about the variety of choices offered by the continuing care retirement community to be built in Kapolei. Ishol brings more than a decade of caring for seniors in Hawai'i. She has experience in nonprofit management, community group consultation and program development. She previously served as the executive director of Windward Senior Day Care Centers and is on the board of directors of the Hawaii Pacific Gerontological Society and the Ko'olauloa Neighborhood Board. Peacock has more than 14 years of senior living marketing experience in Hawai'i and California. She served as a senior living counselor at a continuing care retirement community, where she helped the sales team in achieving 100 percent occupancy.

Sherry Hunt has been named assistant claims manager, property and casualty, for John Mullen & Company. Hunt has been with the company since 1985 and has 28 years of experience in the claims industry.
