 Lane closures at Fort Weaver, Fort Barrette

Fort Weaver Road will be subject to lane closures due to three different projects.

  • The lengthy widening project continues, meaning single-lane closures daily southbound from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. between Laulaunui Street and Old Fort Weaver Road; and northbound 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from 'A'awa Drive to beyond the Honouliuli Stream Bridge.

  • Pothole repairs will be conducted northbound from 8 a.m to 2 p.m. daily from North Road to Farrington Highway.

  • Guardrail repairs will take place in both directions between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Laulaunui Street intersection.

    Old Fort Weaver Road will be contraflowed in a single lane near the Fort Weaver Road intersection 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily for waterline installation work.

    Also, there will be single-lane closures on Fort Barrette Road in both directions between Kama'aha Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for guardrail repairs.

    Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through work areas and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
