Bobby Brown set for '80s show at Pipeline

"That Big 80s Show," at 9 p.m. Aug. 2 at Pipeline Cafe, will feature a performance by Bobby Brown, the blues, R&B and hip-hop artist.

Doors open at 8 p.m .

Brown, the former husband of singer Whitney Houston, is known for such hits as "My Prerogative," "Don't Be Cruel,"

and "She Ain't Worth It" (recorded with Island-based Glenn Medeiros).

Tickets — $42.50 in advance, $50 at the door — go on sale June 2 at all Ticketmaster locations, including Times Supermarkets, Brigham Young University-La'ie, and the Blaisdell Center box office.
