Maui's Cyr tied for lead at NAIA golf championship
Point Loma Nazarene junior Sam Cyr, a King Kekaulike graduate, is tied for the lead after today's second round of the NAIA Men's Golf Championship at Indiana National Golf Club in Plymouth, Ind.
Cyr shot a 2-under 70 today for a two-round total of 5-under 139. Cyr, last year's NAIA runner-up, is tied for the lead with Nick Zappin of Johnson & Wales (Fla.)
Point Loma Nazarene is fifth in the team standings at 588. British Columbia leads at 575.
The four-day tournament ends on Friday.
