Honolulu ID theft suspect indicted

An O'ahu grand jury yesterday returned a 34-count indictment against an identity-theft suspect who allegedly victimized at least 26 people.

The indictment charges Neil Robert Driskill, 37, with 25 counts of unauthorized possession of confidential information, one count of sale or manufacture of deceptive identification, four counts of second-degree forgery for allegedly altering checks, one count each of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and carrying a loaded firearm on the highway.

Pearl City Crime Reduction Unit officers arrested Driskill in Makakilo on Aug. 8 for three outstanding warrants, including one for parole revocation.

Driskil has16 prior convictions.
