Emergency responders have been sent to the intersection of Komo Mai Drive and Waimano Home Road in Pearl City where a pedestrian accident involving a woman was reported.

Emergency crews were sent out on the call a few minutes after 7 a.m.

According to initial reports from the scene, the woman was struck and knocked to the ground in a crosswalk by a car making a turn.

The woman reportedly suffered a head injury but was not seriously hurt.
