Colbie Caillat to perform at May 27 peace event

Colbie Caillat, of "Bubbly" fame, will perform at a Diversity Harmony Peace event, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 27 at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel,

Besides her best-selling album, "Coco," Caillat is featured in a duet called "Lucky" on Jason Mraz's new "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things" CD.

The event is free, but seating is limited, so reservations are required. Call 942-1848 or go to www.harmonyandpeace.org.

Island performers also will participate; they include Keola Beamer, Chamber Music Hawaii's Spring Wind Quintet, Raymond Crowe, Raiatea Helm, Amy Hanaiali'i Gilliom, Natalie Aiu Kamauu and Ulalena.

Na Lei Aloha Foundation is sponsoring the event, in the spirit of harmony and peace of Lantern Floating Hawaii.
