SBA seminar aimed at helping active military & vets

The U.S. Small Business Administration will hold a free seminar to help veterans and the military community start a small business from 9 a.m.-noon May 28 at the Pearl Harbor Fleet & Family Center.

The seminar is intended to help veterans and their family members discover a variety of government programs and benefits designed to support their entrepreneurial efforts. In addition to the SBA, representatives from the Hawai'i Small Business Development Center Network, Veterans Administration, Foreign Trade Zone No. 9, and Central Pacific Bank will be available to meet with the veterans.
