Surf of 6 to 8 feet expected on North Shore today

Advertiser Staff

A recently arrived north-northwest swell is on the way down but is still providing surf of 6 to 8 feet today on O'ahu's north-facing shores and 4 to 6 feet along west-facing shores, the National Weather Service said.

Elsewhere, the surf is expected to be 2 feet or less today along south-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along east-facing shores.

The northwest swell will slowly decline through the weekend. A small to moderate southeast swell is expected during the upcoming work week. No other significant swells are expected.
