Shidler College gets $150K gift

The University of Hawai'i at Manoa Shidler College of Business recently received a gift of $150,000 from Young Brothers, Ltd./Hawaiian Tug & Barge and Maui Petroleum and Hawaii Petroleum, subsidiaries of Saltchuk, to assist students participating in the Neighbor Island MBA program.

In 2006, the NIMBA Young Brothers / Hawaiian Tug & Barge Scholarship Fund provided approximately 10 scholarships to students participating in the Neighbor Island MBA program. Scholarship recipients must be Neighbor Island residents and will be chosen based on their grade point average and financial need.
