The Kauai Police Department will close off Rice and Umi streets from about 6:45 to 7:30 a.m. this morning for the 30th annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk.

The walk will begin at the Historic County Building, head down Rice St., turn left on Ho'olako St., go up Ka'ana St., left on Kapule Hwy., left on Ahukini Rd. and end on Umi St. at the Historic County Building.

Motorists will need to seek alternate routes to get to their destinations during the Charity Walk.
