Jasmine Trias, an "American Idol" Season 3 finalist, will guest-star with The Society of Seven Las Vegas during a six-week engagement beginning June 20 at the Main Showroom of the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel.

Trias, who finished third in the Fox reality series in the year Fantasia Barrino won, earlier played with the classic SOS group led by Tony Ruivivar at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. Her Waikiki presence enables her fans to see her amid a format that pleased crowds and critics alike in the gambling capital.

"The seven-man band now will have a wonderful diva connection," said producer Frannie Kirk, the Outrigger's director of entertainment. "This is new and exciting for Waikiki."

Society of Seven founder Ruivivar will be arriving the first week of June to rehearse SOS LV and Trias. "It was Tony who persuaded Jasmine to go into the nightclub genre and he is is the perfect person to integrate her into the show," Kirk said.

Trias, now 21, was the first "American Idol" star to have appeared in a production show on the Las Vegas Strip when she appeared with the original Society of Seven.

She also appeared with Ruivivar's group, along with Lani Misalucha, in a 2007 Blaisdell Concert Hall engagement.

Shows are at 8:30 p.m. daily except Mondays, through July 31. There is a dinner package available, with an all-you-can-eat Ali'i Buffet, with seating at 7 p.m.

Reservations: 923-7469.
