A 34-year-old man was arrested for second-degree assault early yesterday morning after he allegedly punched a man in a wheelchair before pushing him over and taking his PSP II game player.

Police said the incident took place in Wai'anae at 1:05 a.m.

The victim, a 44-year-old man, was in his wheelchair watching a movie on his PSP II when the suspect asked for his PSP II. When the victim refused, police said the suspect punched the man and pushed him off his chair before taking the PSP II and fleeing in his vehicle.

Police were able to locate the suspect nearby and arrested him after the victim identified him as the assailant.
