The Place at Ward Warehouse is presenting a series of "Sex and the City"-related events.

A $5 "friend" pass entitles holders to exclusive shopping discounts. The $15 "best friend" pass entitles holders to a movie ticket plus the following parties, fashion shows and other events.

Today, May 23 - Meet and Treat (an adult version of Trick or Treat) at select retailers, starting at The Place at Ward Warehouse, with discounts continuing throughout the week at participating merchants.

Sunday, May 25 - a fashion show "Sex and the City" style will be presented at the Ward Warehouse Amphitheater at 2:30 p.m., followed by pink mimosas at The Place.

Friday, May 30 - a cocktail party and fashion show featuring fashions straights from the Bryant Park fashion show runways, as featured in the movie, as well as items from C. June Shoes (including items from seasons one and two staple designer Stewart Weitzman), Linea, and Dig Lifestyle, with Red Velvet cupcakes from Hokulani Bakery, at The Place at 6 p.m.

Following the cocktail party and fashion show will be a "Not So Silent" auction, inside the Ward Entertainment Center theater preceding the screening, with items from participating Ward merchants; 100 percent of the proceeds from ticket sales and the auction will benefit the Honolulu chapters of both the Susan G. Komen Foundation (a nod to one of the character's successful battle with breast cancer) and The Life Foundation.

The "Sex and the City" movie premiere will wrap up the festivities at 9 p.m. Friday, May 30 at Ward Entertainment Center.

Additional participating merchants include Dig Lifestyle, Liquor Collection, Opal Fields and Second Skin.
